Beman MFX Classic 400's in my Schafer SilverTip...these carbons are bulletproof.
Only problem I had was keeping my feathers on the shaft after fletching...changed to fletching tape and have had no problems since!

I have never shoot the MFX so cant comment on that one. but I shoot the heritage 150 and they are pretty darn tough and in my wheelie days I shot the maximas and never had a problem with them either. just mt 2 cents

Have shot the MFX 500's for years. Love them.I have never shot the CE but my son does.He has had a few issues with them, but then again anything will break if it hits something hard enough, often enough.

I've shot both and prefer the CE's.

CE when it comes to durability, especially with a brass insert. The MFX is a great shaft as well, but I don't like the HIT inserts. Any hard hits with this shaft will break open the shaft in front of the insert. Another lack of the MFX is the small diameter, so you can hardly weight tune them with "nylon rope" like I do with the normal 5/16" carbons.
But I'll go back to wood now anyways.
