Apologies from Red Feather Archery
« on: April 21, 2011, 07:07:00 PM »
Thanks to an e-mail today from a Tradgang member I realized that I made a mistake in my recent post about a sale on Talons from Red Feather Archery.

Last year we ran the same add, giving away a free head with the purchase of a 2 or 3-pack.  I intended to run that same ad at the same time of year this year.  However, I did not word the ad that way.  Rereading it, after receiving the e-mail I see that one could easily be mislead into thinking that they were getting a free PACK of heads with the purchase of a 2 or 3-pack.

Given that this was MY mistake, I'd like to make good on this for anyone who had a similar misunderstanding.  I would just send an e-mail to those who ordered using their Tradgang member name, but I know some of you ordered without using your name in the comment section and I don't want anyone to feel cheated.  I'd rather not be in business than to operate in a misleading way.

If you ordered some Talons from me, based on this ad and didn't get what you expected, please send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I will make it right for you whether you posted your Tradgang name in the original order or not.

My sincere apologies for any and all miscommunication.  Some days I'm a knothead   :knothead:

Thank you all.

That's good business, Stan.

Doing right by your customers is not always easy... and not always profitable (in the short run)... but it is the way to live.

I believe actions like this will be repaid big-time as your reputation and business ethics become known.

Thanks for your efforts to stand by your word.

That sounds like good customer service to me!  I just received my Talons today, including the free one.  Very fast shipping and they look like awesome stumping weapons.

Stan. I originally thought that at first when I ordered this year. When I received the heads I remembered from last year that is how the sale ran. Oversite on MY part. I do NOT want extra heads. Heck I ordered another 3 pack the other day. These heads are worth every penny and am completely satisfied with your product and service!!!! Thank you!!

All cool here Stan. And I've got to say, your Talons are probably the best small game head on the market today. I will be buying more...

2X what Coaster said. I would think no one would take you up on that offer knowing you didn't intend it that way and went public with this. The slant has been wiped clean!
