Is this a particular type of bow or is it a model made by Gahring?

G&M Archery used to carry them and I shot one or two there.  It was quite a while ago that I shot one but I remember it shooting quick with little to no handshock.  I think you'll like it.  Contact Greg Sovde at G&M Archery if you have more questions.

For somebody like me that can't get away from a recurve grip, would you guys recommend this bow or maybe a Schrew? I would like to shoot longbows but just can't shoot them with that flat grip.

Cornplanter was a Seneca war chief, not a farm implement.

I believe you will be happy with this bow.

Doug is Top notch and has tried many, many bows.  I think his description you will find to be spot on.

Not that I could afford it, I was bummed when I found the ad today and saw that it was already spf.

Congrats and enjoy!
