"Someone Special" Got A New Dress

My good friend, Chuck "Snakewood3" Sinclair, and I got our first (my only) Adcock ACS bows about the same time (and close to the same types). Shortly thereafter we met at ATAR and have been like family ever since. It is no small wonder then, that Chuck told me to send "Someone Special" to him and he would make her a new Handle Wrap and give her a fresh coat of Thunderbird, (and have her back to me in less than a week   :)  ). However, it was still a most welcome and generous surprise to this ol' hoss.

I just wanted all of my friends to see what a great job he did on her for me. It is a Bison hide wrap and the lacings are cream Kangaroo hide dyed with the Marine Corps Colors - Scarlet and Gold. Bless your heart (and talent) Chuck. It feels and looks great.

It looks alot better in a dress than you do in a skirt!!!  LOL!!!

I REALLY like it Bern.  

BTW - I like MY NEW SHIRT I got in the mail the other day too!!!!!  VERRRRY NICE!!!!

Thanks all - (even for the "skirt" talk -   ;) ). Chuck came up with the design and choice of colors - I was quick to agree with his suggestions. I also think the splash of MC colors is a real addition - and makes it even more personal. The feather is something I've had on there for about two years. It is a Horse hair (I love horses) and feather "wind indicator". It was made for me by one of our members who was between jobs, and trying to raise a little pocket change. I regret to say I can't remember who right now but it is in my records somewhere. i got one for "SS" and one for "Texas Slim" at the same time.

Very nice Bernie,I've always liked snakewoods work since I first saw a wrap he did on an ACS.Maybe one of these days I'll have the option of dressing mine up LOL
