Spine question
« on: April 27, 2011, 04:53:00 PM »
Just started shooting again after a year lay-off fighting throat cancer. I've got a new 45# Samick Sage that I just started shooting since I'm over bowed with my other bows. Drawing 30", what aluminum arrow would you recommend? I'm thinking 2016 or 2018. One thing I would like to do is have more weight up front (100 grain insert + 145 grain broadhead) That being the case, would a 2117 be the preferred shaft?

With that weight up front, 2117 should be close  - depends on how centershot the Sage is.  Maybe some of the Stu-Calculator experts can chime in here to help.
