Tuning choice: move rest or add weight

Here's my choice. I think to get my final tune, I can either add 10-20 grains to my arrows or move my rest in from - 1/16" to -1/8". Which would you choose? Or does it really not matter? I'm not sure cause I'm a finger shooter and read you should stay away from centershot.

Adding weight is easier then cutting the plate 1/16". The reason is You can only cut so far , But You can add more weight.

Oh, it's an adjustable rest. Everything I read says let the arrow lean out a little to compensate for your finger release. If that's true, I should just add point weight. I just wanted to confirm.

If you're that close, I'd probably just put feathers on the shafts and shoot them. On the other hand, either adding weight or moving the rest will accomplish the same thing. Doesn't cost anything to move/shave/screw in the rest so why not try that first. Unless your shaft is already almost centered on the string, moving the rest 1/16-inch isn't likely to move the shaft too far toward the center of the bow. Hope that makes sense.

It's at -1/16". I can move it to about -3/16" max which is approx. centershot. So I can only move it 1/8" more to the right. Given your druthers, would you rather avoid moving closer to centershot and just add weight?

I would also opt for the added weight.

If you can do both, why not try both. One may work just a tad better.
