Tricia's New Girls
« on: April 29, 2011, 11:59:00 PM »
NW Tradwife recently picked up two new bows from Wes Wallace.  They are both 40lbs @ 28 inches - 66 inch R/D Royals, One is Cocabolo and Osage.  The other is Bolivian Rosewood & Zebra wood with a very shiny finish.  That one is Tricia's practice bow with the Osage and Cocabolo being her hunting bow.

She loves the bows.  I forgot to mention that they are both 2 piece take down models.  She told me she was done with these two bows, but has already recanted and is contemplating a third royal.

A wife who orders not one, but two new bows?  Dang man....how lucky could you be?  And beautiful bows at that.

Those are two really nice bows, Clay. Wes is a master bowyer and has an excellent design with the Royals. Hard to even tell those are takedowns. My wife shoots too, but certainly not as much as your wife must.

Tricia recently took first place by over 20 points in the womens longbow division at the TBW Moses Lake shoot.  She is at the point where she is shooting close to my scores at 3D shoots and plans to outshoot me on Memorial Day at the Western States Rondevous.  It is getting tough to beat her.  Her stated goal is to start outshooting all the mens scores at the local 3D shoots.

I am a lucky man.  She loves to camp, loves to hunt and fish, shoots like a champ, easy going, pretty too.
