brace height for Hoyt longbow??
« on: June 22, 2007, 12:52:00 PM »
I have a 69" Hoyt trophy longbow 60# @28".  Anyone know what the recommeded brace height range is?

I was shooting double loop dacron at 6 3/4 inch but I switched to flemish twist Dacron and cannot get the bow to start being quiet until 7 1/2 - 7 3/4".  I do not want to damage this bow.... it seems this height may be a little large for a longbow???

I also had to move my armguard up on my bow arm....caught me once at the edge of my guard halfway between my elbow and wrist...was hitting me before right behind where my watch band would be....????????  Is this too high???
