Maddog bow pic and youth bow questions
«

First, I am looking at ordering two Maddog bows. One for my wife and one for my soon-to-be 4 year old daughter. If you have a Maddog bow could you post a pic and the wood types. Shoot who knows I may even get myself a new longbow too.
Second, I dont even know where to start with sizing a bow for a four year old. What weight should I stay around? Should I go a little longer on draw length?
Thanks
Ray

Good looking bows. I really like the Myrtle. What is the dark wood on the palm of the first bow. Is that cocobola?

Hey hardtimes, I started my son when he was 5 with one of mikes pup recurves. Give him a call, he's a great guy to work with and can steer you in the right direction. In the meantime check this link out for some pics...

Here is what you need to know about a Maddog Pup bow. I think this is most important. The 2nd pic shows it all.
I think 15#@21" is a pretty good point to start the kids off. They won't draw 21" so the weight will be far lighter than 15#. My youngest son, the one in the pics, shoots 21#@21", but he shoots alot and has shot since he was 2. In that pic, he is 4. He will be 5 in about 2 months and the bow fits perfectly. As he grows, the poundage increases with draw increase. These bows are great for the kids and Mike is an awsome guy to work with.
God Bless,
Nathan

Great looking bows at an awesome price. Will have to order one for my 9 yr old Grand Daughter. She currently is shooting a 20# Cupid 3 pc TD, and when she is ready to move up. We will get one. Nice pics.

Great pics guys. Thanks for the response. I am thinking she will like the purple heart riser.
Bornagain - Thanks for the insight on the poundage for the little ones.
