I am still waiting for Biggie to tell us the truth about what happened. At least he got some of the BS straightened out in the video.

6 of us only shot 34 times at birds under 25 yards so it makes sense somebody somebody could kill 2 in one shot. I have no room to talk. I missed 3 at 15!!!!  And I can't blame it on blind netting!

Joey, I am going to have to remember that line.

Thanks for the great stories and pictures and of course the videos. They brought back great memories. I can't wait to get back to Nick's.

I know this is starting to get old, but I was cleaning up my camcorder and ran across this. I promise this will be the last.

Joebuck/ there will be payback!!!! You rascal!!!

My friend Joey paid for my hunt as a gift for trying to get him an Osceola turkey for about 12 years! Matt Schuster flew me out there. Bowhunting friends are the best!! Biggie just gave me a hard time.

Funny, I was talking to joey today about this years trip and was looking on google for nick klintworths contact info and this thread came up in the search. I read the whole thing again. What a great trip with a great bunch of guys. Hope this year will be just as good or better. thought i would bump it back for the off season. DB

Ha!  As if I'm not itching bad enough already.  Big waders to fill at that place for sure.

We are going to do our best to make sure that Joey and the rest of that bunch are kicking themselves in the rear end all the way to next year for missing out on this years installment.

Talking to Nick the other night he figured there were 4-500 birds on the place right now.  Very little in the way of snows, so the turks are fairing well this winter.

I will never forget the sounds that first morning last year as the turkeys woke up and started with the tree talk and gobbling.  And then watching as wave after wave of them poured out of the roost trees.  Turkey hunting heaven!!

I went back and read year before last years thread too! I am just happy to get to go and will do my best to "fill the waders" of the previous bunch. Somehow I think without Joebuck some of the "character" will be lost...I am gonna try though. Growing my hair out like 1977 Elvis and putting on some weight. Now if I could just develop an affinity for bull-balls, zulu shield-makin', and swamp rooster killin'   :p

I am gonna cook some though and hope to hold my own in the kitchen. That I know I can do...the turkey killin', well, that will be gravy on the taters   :campfire:
