In hotel room in KC- Biggie just dropped of Matt and I- he told me he hated those drag out threads-  so here's a little news. Batman missed a gobbler the first day - then
killed one on day two! He bacame our personal camera man as he chose to not buy another tag. Joey pegged him bad luck- so he tagged along with me! He took my calls after our sit and put them in the freezer cause he said they were so hot from too much calling- tough crowd! These guys were merciless- but I got em all!

Just found out- Kuiu camo and "Slick Beaver" came through at the last minute- that's the word on the street.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

What happens in Nebraska, stays in Nebraska.

Except for maybe a tale or two for the gang here.

Good luck boys!

heres my last minute Stud #17 Jake...poor soul...awesome hunt. Got undetected shots off at 5 different long beards at 15 yards and less on 5 different hunts at Big Toms.....Continued to fine tune my system but needed to FINE tune my shooting!!!!!..Did lose a heart breaker.. My DSD Strutter was 100% birds coming too..some 500 to 1000 yards away. Batman has footage of it or does he!! I'll be going back every year until my wife files for divorce.

I put this trip together back at Kalamazoo in 2010. I can not say enough about the Nick Klintworth, our rancher, and the Klintworth family. PBS will be holding their youth Fall hunt here. I can not encourage my fellow PBS brothers enough to contact PBS and get your kid on this hunt. there are limited spots and some guidelines.

I hunted mostly away from main ranch in my own canyon which was gorgeous. Working a bird across cedar saturated prairie from hundreds of yards to your decoy at 12 yards is an exciting hunt for me. I hunt blindless and it's a huge part of the experience for me.

But as much fun as the turkey hunting was on this trip, surrounding yourself with your best old and new bowhunting friends.....there is no price tag. Batman won us all over!

Whip!!...i do , thats what Marty does to a man after 3 days

Hogdancer and myself last evening. Just noticed my light nock still on in pic! Waldrop Pac Seat is Perfect for what i need out of a turkey chair. Threw my old homemade one away after 14 seasons. I'll probably change up my shield some next year after some things i tweaked this year.

heres a pic of one of my best Swamprooter Prostaffers, Marty McMahon. Batman calls him the 'Freezer"...why?!!. he filmed Marty's hunt. he's on the road but will chime in shortly. batman said it was a life changing event sitting in the blind with Marty that evening. Man, some of us know that well>  Welcome to the club Batman.!!!...Marty had a big time and made our trip. Marty is Tons of fun and always laughing and cutting up. he can cook a breeakfast too. He can eat too 'like he was going to the electric chair the next day!"

Great Job Marty.....and oh yeah....try not to call any of us for a least a month..
