Quinn arrow suggetions?
« on: May 03, 2011, 08:26:00 PM »
Wondering what Gold tip shaft is best dfor my Quinn Stallion. It is 60" 50@30 I shoot 145 grain razorheads should I be using 5575 or 7595? Shafts are full length I have a felt furniture pad for a strike plate and a velcro rest. I also have 50 grain and 100 grain inserts if necassary.

If you draw 30 in. I think you could make a 5575 work with some weight up front.  I shoot 50@28 and I shoot Beman ICS 500 with 160 to 200 up front.

I'd guess the same, 55/75 with 100 gr inserts and 125 gr point or 145.

Craig you will find it hard to get a arrow setup that doesntfly well outof this rig, I have shot arrows w/totalweight between 400-600 grains, 28-32" in length,3,4,&5" feathers, and always got great accuracy as long as myrelease and form were halfway decent. Ijust shot between 450-550 grain set ups, not much tuning, and go kill stuff! Iguess that is why I am a quinnaholic, never had any issues whatsoever with tuning.

I have a 60"  55 pounds at 28 Quinn Stallion Classic and draw about 27 inches and I shoot GT 35/55 out of mine and they seem to fly great.
