I asked this question because I really like this pack, although its use for hunting is questionable because of the noisy material that its made of. I use my Condor II as my emergency gear pack and rarely go anywhere without it being in my truck or jeep.
Like most of you here I'm always on the lookout for the perfect pack for hunting. If it even exists. Last week. I picked up a new Eberlestock X2 pack. This one shows alot of promise and from the searches that I've done alot of people like it very much.
For the past 5 or 6 years I've been using a hunting version of the Camelbak Striker. This has been a very nice pack but at times I wish it was just a little bit larger. Hence getting the X2.
For day packs I tend to shy away from packs with a waistbelt because they tend to interfere with anything that I wish to carry on my pants belt. But I've read so many good things about the Eberlestock X2 that I'm going to give it a chance.
