just for the boot end stitching i used a thick carpet needle, but for the rest i just twisted the dacron bundle real tight and wicked in some thin cya to make it into a "needle".  :)

made some needed changes as the quiver was hanging too horizontal so i replaced the rear "coupler" with a new one and relocated the strap hanger to the rear of the quiver side.  the front end attachment was at 90 degrees instead of 180 so i pulled it apart and restitched it using dacron as the joiner.  ah, so much better now!  now that this "prototype" works, is should build another that looks, um, "cleaner" ... NAH!  :D

as with any specific side stalker type quiver, where the strap attaches determines how it will ride when worn.  with before switching the strap to the back end of the quiver, the first spot had it riding almost horizontal, plains indian style.  here's how it rides now ...

 

... i want it a tad more vertical and that means moving the front strap attachment a bit further back,

Thanks Rob. I had modified mine as well when I got it. Had the same issues with the way it hung. I got mine almost vertical and live it. If I get into some thick stuff while hunting I can still slide it to the horizontal position and back. These style quivers are great for stumping and 3D as well as hunting.

Very cool quiver, Rob. That is the only other style of quiver I think that I could hunt with if I didn't use a bow quiver.
