Pics from a "Hoot" but unsuccessful turkey season
« on: May 07, 2011, 02:30:00 PM »
So my turkey season is over with no turkey down but a lot of great times had. I was able to take both my son and daughter out this year and it was an experience I won't forget. I was hoping to have some pics for Lee of a turkey kill with my new Hoot's recurve but these will have to do.

In the woods with your kids and a good bow fine experience regardless.

Great way to spend the day!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I disagree, it looks successful to me  :)

Looks like a great time Mike, I'll take memorys with my kids anytime over a turkey! I spent alot of bow season sitting in a blind with my son this past season trying to get him a deer, sometimes it just don't work out but would'nt trade it for a wall full of pope and young bucks!

Cherish those times with your kids, they grow up way to fast. Success is measured in many ways.

Well look at it this way, now you have something to look forward to next year or this fall. Get them back in the woods, can't have enough of that.  Good job!
