1st Trad Kill of the year.

Well, I was finally able to get out for a little bit yesterday. Stopped by at Barkley Dam after a nice lunch. Was able to arrow me my first fish of the year. The river was very, very high and flooded because of all the rain. Not a bad start considering the timeframe I had to work with. I'm heading back to Afghanistan on Monday. Its been a great mid-tour, went by way to fast.

Thanks guys,
I can't wait to come home and get back out "dressed for success". It goes without saying that I was a bit over dressed for bowfishing, with a polo shirt, nice jeans and doc martins....not exactly my normal bowfishing attire.
I was able to do some shooting at the house as well. Was able to get my wife to sling a few arrows, her first time ever. Going to be posting some pics up of that soon too.
