Well here's the one I have...Actually SemoHunter has it right now. I loaned it to him for turkey season this year cause he has said he wanted a short bow for blind hunting, and I figured this ought to be short enough.....
Here's a pic of some of Onestringer Limbsations on it. They saved it from some nasty scratches last year while riding in the back of the van.
It's a fun bow to shoot, and shoots great out to 28". Don't try any longer, she doesn't stack, she hits a wall
. About like that.

I had a Herter's perfection 46" that this bow was made after....not to say they're exactly the same.
I used it a while. It was my first trad bow.
Only after I tried a longer bow did I realize how much finger pinch there was..and how much better I shot with a longer bow.
It was nice being so short. I could sit on my rear and shoot the bow without any tilt and still the bottom limb was far from the ground.
It pulled nice and did just plain "hit a wall" at 28" just like Joe said.
I imagine Rodney's is even nicer.
I don't see myself going that short again.

Hi Mr Mogensen
Are you referring to the 46''Stalker Recurve or the Stalker Longbow’s that I make.
If you require any further info I would be happy to help you.
Thank You For Your Interest.
Rodney.

Definitely looking at the 46" stalker recurve.
Played around with a Bear Super Mag for a little bit and liked it, thought I'd take a look at your stalker. I draw 27.5 so I don't think draw would be an issue.
Thanks for the help!

Joe Kieth, love the bow. I love the way the profile looks on them.
Like the limbstations too, been thinking about getting some for my fishing bow.

My son has a Super Mag. Nice bow, but doesn't really stand up compared to the Stalker.
The Stalker hits a wall @ 28", which I don't really mind since that's my draw length. Kinda like havin' a draw stop. Anything shorter and you won't even notice. As far as finger pinch I don't really notice it.
It is a fun bow to shoot, standin' or sittin'.

Yeah, I knew quality wise the Super Mag wouldn't hold a candle to the stalker. Just wanted to say that I have shot a short bow and it didn't bother me. Definitely think I'm going to be saving up for one.

I have a Stalker recurve--and I am in love;with my draw of 26 inches and it's length of 46 inches it is just perfect for those
almost impossible to be places. The fit and finish on the bow is impeccable and it is smooth
and a real joy to shoot.Perfect size for those
backyard garden raiders.Very easy to carry on a bike or a 4 wheeler or for those long stump shooting outings.I can't do pictures.

Here's a couple pics of the one I use to own, around five years ago. It was a fun bow to shoot, but a tad bit too heavy for me.

Yup, Cocobolo with boo lams. I really liked the bow. Had it been a few pounds lighter, I would have kept it. I got it from a gent down in Austrailia. Funny thing is, he shipped it on a Wednesday and the dang bow arrived Saturday the same week! I've waited much longer for bows shipped in the lower 48! If you're looking for a super short bow, I don't believe I know of anyone who could do better. Good luck...Ed.

Yep, definitely think I'll be going with one as soon as I can get the money saved up.
Thanks for all the replies everyone.
Thanks for chiming in and helping too Mr. Wright. It helps to be able to talk to the actual bowyer himself! You'll be getting a call in the future when I have the money! :D
Thanks again.
