Girls vs. Gobblers (pic. heavy)
« on: May 11, 2011, 03:49:00 PM »
On Sat. I had my first chance to take my girls out turkey hunting! They have been talking about this all winter.
Thanks to a good friend who loaned me his popup blind, this made it all possible.
"The girls" made it apx. 45minutes in the blind, then they wanted to go for a walk. No turkeys were heard or seen, I can't figure out why!
A great time was had by all!
I think I hear something!

We need to hurry!

This sure is a "cool tent"!

Dad surprised us with "new shirts!"

This turkey hunting gives me a headache!

The turkey's will be here any minute...

This sure is fun!

I think we should have put our tent over there!

Can we pick this flower for Mommy...

Very good work, Daddy!

I almost think you MIGHT have said, "OK, Smile, now!" on one or two of those pictures!  Great times, great memories, great investment!

Looks like a trip in heaven for Daddy!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Wow! Something about those little girls. Mine will be as old as your little one next year.  I hope to be able to take her out.

Thats what it's all about.
