Modified Waldrop Pacseat (Pics)
« on: May 12, 2011, 03:04:00 PM »
Just wanted to share some pics of how I modified my chair. After I recieved it I noticed a couple things I thought I could improve on for the chair to suit me better....I did'nt like how reclined the back was....and how the front cut into my legs....I had read on an earlier post how someone had added a swivel seat I found it on Gander Mnt website $10 free shipping and the lumbar cushion on Amazon for around $20 my back gives me some trouble and the cushion seems to support it well.

The last picture shows the chair folded up and ready for transport.

Looks nice.  I'm researching seats for this coming fall.  The Waldrop is definitely on the list.

Don't the cushions interfere with using it as a pack?

The cushions are against your back when packing so it would'nt interfere with strapping a pack on.

Jim,

Anyway you could get a few extra pic's from side angles and with her all folded up, maybe on your back?  I know a lot to ask, but your mods look interesting but would like a better view spread out, thanks.

Yes sir paint a much better picture    does the swivel seat keep your thighs from growing numb after long sits?

I hav'nt sat in the chair very long yet but from just trying it out the swivel seat keeps chair from putting pressure on my thighs.
