Wingbone Call Makers
« on: May 14, 2011, 02:48:00 PM »
Can one of the wingbone call makers that frequent this place please PM me.  I have a special set of wing bones that I need to have made into a pair of calls.  After six years of frustration my dad finally connected on a bird I called into range for him.  We decided to pass on the gobbling mount as they seem to be super expensive, especially with the economy and gas where it is at.  So for fathers day Id like to surprise him with a matching set of wing bone calls.  Please help.
Thanks
Dustin

Wingbones from gobs are not the best choice.
Either a hen and/or a hen/jake combination will produce much better sounding results.

Could consider pursueing these as a special memory in honor of that 1st gob.

Hens are best. You are mounting the tail/beard correct?
