I rough up the inner surface with a rifle bore brush, clean with denatured alcohol on a Q-tip and then glue with super glue gel (not liquid and get a good brand like Loctite). Works very well...Shawn

Devcon high strength 2 ton epoxy. 30 min.set, 2 hrs handle, 8 hrs. full strength...except I let mine sit overnight.
Don't know that it's the best, but has worked very well with any carbon shaft I've used it on.

I use a 2-part 24 hr. slow cure epoxy on all my carbons.I do prep my carbon with a bore brush and scratch up the insert and clean with alcohol first.I never lost an insert and have nocked them back out when I needed to change inserts.

I use the Gorilla Glue which is to be impact resistant. No problems since.

I've been using the hot melt that 3-Rivers sells.I prep them like scedvm posted , but also scuff up the insert.I've been doing it this way for years and never had an insert pull out, best part is I can change inserts by screwing in a fieldpoint, apply a little heat with a torch to the point and pull the point & insert out with a pliers.

I will say with the Jb Weld I had a brass insert and judo break off in the shaft, leaving the bottom of the brass insert and screw of judo. I found that fairly impressive. Never tried to remove an insert.

Ferr-l-Tite cools hard and when you hit something hard while shooting, they have a tendancy to break. The quick stick stays somewhat soft and the bond doesn't break. Works great on wood, aluminum and carbon too.

there is no goop specific to any manner of carbon, alum, glass or wood arrow.
use a quality slow set epoxy for all inserts. clean the insert outside and shaft tube insides with something like nahptha (lighter fluid).
