Both are great heads but Woodsmans seem to shoot better for me.

A big Snuffer can turn a bad hit to a great hit. They are devastating.
WW's are more foregiven to bow/arro combos that aren't tuned well and the 3to1 ratio penetrates better

I have been shooting snuffers since the late 80's and have killed tons of critters with them.  Any broadhead will do the job in the right place but that big snuffer gives me that extra margin of error for when the stars aren't aligned right.

Tried the woodsman several years ago but ended up curling the tip on several and gave them up.

I haven't tried the Woodsman because I've been perfectly satisfied with my Snuffers. The last doe I shot had a big chunk of lung hanging out of the BIG hole when I got to her.

As for penetration, Dan Quillian used a 160 Snuffer on his record-class grizzly, and got complete penetration to the skin on the other side, shooting a 70# longbow.

Yup,like Terry said!! Curt has huge success with  but I believe he is trying out another BH as of late. Maybe for turkeys only, not sure! I myself use snuffers for everything as I can get them very sharp. Shawn

My quickest archery kill came from a Snuffer but I would love to try the Woodsmen only problem is I bought Snuffers in volume years ago and still have a ton of them

This Buck did not go 30 yds
