Don't know how you keep coming up with new ways to improve a great design.  I really like this one!  Perfect compliment to Benjy's shafts

My Bear Quest arrow specks and total outfit:

1)  Main arrow is a raw cane shaft that I made with four turkey feathers, 125gr 8 gauge copper wire inserted in the head of the hollow cane shaft plus the 140gr St Charles Mikey Finn broadhead = 725gr

2)  Two backup Benjy cane arrows with my 300gr forged broadheads = 750gr ea

3) St Charles Thunderbird bow 48#@28 and Eagles Flight beaver tail three arrow quiver

4) If all else fails, there's always my forged Bear Sticker        tippit

You are a man of many talents, with lots of Yankee ingenuity and craft ability!

Gotta be neat to work with metal! All I can mess with is wood and not so well with that these days...but Wow!

Very cool, Kemo Sabe!

Is that a lefty bow with a righty quiver?  It is a wonderful looking setup you have.

The bow was made to shoot either RH or LH.  I shoot RH.

Tippit,

That bow is just plain cool. It's got some serious character.  I can't compete with that but I figured we need to keep this thread going so I'm going to post some pictures as well.
I finished my arrows for this trip with a little help from onestringer and his arrow wraps.

Been working on sharpening up my Simmon's Treesharks. They are shaving off hair after using a chainsaw file and a steel on them.  Hopefully, I can get them where they will pop those hairs off with ease. By June 10th they better be scary sharp.   :scared:

I've even started laying gear out to start the process of getting everything packed. I'm sure I'll end up taking a bunch of stuff I won't use and realizing when I get on the plane that I forgot something.    :knothead:

I really like your latest tradepoint design. It is very similar to what I am making from saw blades. Of course I got the idea to make my own from watching your post on tradepoints. I cant forge...yet. I traded Pat B for some cane shafts and will have a similar look for this fall, will be following post to see how your 3to1 design on cane works for you. Good luck and great looking gear with wonderful meaning.
