RC,
Thanks for sharing the pictures.  I always look forward to your post.  How does the pig hunting season on public land in Georgia work?  Is it only open with other game or is it open year round?

Interseptor, Some kind of season has to be in on WMA`s for you to hunt except for a few special pig hunts on a few WMA`s. I hunt Fort Stewart when the WMA`s are not open.Won`t be able to WMA`s until August 15th.Fort Stewart is really good during the hot Summer if a fella don`t mind the heat and ...snakes.RC

Great photo essay. thanks again for taking me along.

Very good photos. I always like your pic posts. I really enjoy the pics of the snakes too as I'm kind of a "snake nut" myself. Been catching them since I was a youngster and I already have taught my sons how to catch them safely, NON poisonous ones that is. I especially like the pic of the cottonmouth because, contrary to what some believe, they are extremely rare in KY except for the western 1/3 of the state.

Is that first snake a Racer?

ishoot- Looks like a racer for sure. Only caught 2 in my life but chased about 100. Dont call em racers for nothing.
