My new Bamabows Expedition (w/pics)
« on: May 23, 2011, 08:48:00 PM »
Hi all,

Thought I'd share some pics of my exciting new bow. It was made by Nate Steele of Bamabows and is his newest addition to his line...the EXPEDITION. Not only is Nate an awesome guy to work with, but he makes a beautiful, great shooting bow at a more-than-reasonable price with a short wait time. How on earth can you beat that?! Anyway, I've posted some pics below. It's 58" long, 50#@29". Osage riser with walnut pin-stripes, osage overlay on back and osage tip overlays with brown glass over bamboo cores (Nate bent over backwards and honored my special request for the brown glass). It shoots even better than it looks too! (hard to believe, I know, but true!) Thanks Nate! Thanks also for looking everyone...

Another stunner from Nate.  I was out shooting my Bama today.  Very nice bow. I love osage.  Have it as an accent stripe, riser overlay and limb tip w/stag on my Elite Classic TD.  I'm sure you're gonna love this bow.  Good luck.

Great choice of woods! I'm loving it man! What took you so long on the post?

Still waiting on mine but I bought an Elite Classic recently so I'm not in a hurry.

Awesome bow!!

Very nice looking bow! You're right-on about Nate and his bows, I have two Hunter models. First-Class, the bows and the Bowyer. Congrats and welcome to the BamaBows fan club!

Nice bow Gob.  I really like the wood.  I just came in from shooting my new expedition in the back yard.  I put one of Nate's skinny 6 strand strings on it and it not only quited it down but sure seems to zing too.  It feels kind of strange that something that pretty, short, and light could be so deadly, but so it is.

Love the Bamabow!

I was hoping to be able to send Nate a photo of my Hunter next to a dead turkey...but luck wasn't with me this Spring. Maybe in the Fall.

I strongly suggest that you at least give Nate a call and chat with him. He's a top-notch guy to talk with and of course to deal with. You won't regret it!
