Beautiful....Nice job...

Questions - Now is that a coastal timber rattler, and was that one skin wide enough to do both limbs or did you use to snakes?

Thanx

I like him better on your bow limbs. Nice job!

Awful nice of that snake to volunteer to dress up your bow.  And dress it he did.

yep,  ACS limbs. The snake skin measured 66 inchs long but I split him down the middle and had plenty for both limbs. I have not done one in 20 someyears, but the price was right. I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Looks great!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

66" (I assume timber rattler) - Holy Moly, I didn't realize they grew that big.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you the split the skin down the center, I assume you have the other half for another set of limbs?

Thanx

Very nice job indeed.
I was in Dublin GA this morning when turbo sized diamondback crossed the road in front of me. I thought about collecting it but by the time I got stopped it had made some cover that I didn't want to enter with my shorts and sandals. All I had was a duck decoy retrieval pole.

Sorry guys, but I have to say it, in the spirit of Dan Quillian. Leave those live snakes alone! Use roadkill if you want to fancy up your bows.
