Checking out my bows
«
on:
May 24, 2011, 11:45:00 AM »
Looking at my bows, I came away with that all of my longbows are simple looking hard working workhorses, while my recurves are my sexy bows.
Guess that says alot on what I think the differences between recurves and longbows means to me.

I think you both just said the same thing.
Though I have shot recurves most of my life, I have found that I shoot LB's more accurately. I like to use my Palmer for hunting from a tree and my LB for still hunting from the ground and stalking. I think they all have there place and that is what makes the world go around, different strokes for different folks.
I also think they are all sexy and beautiful.

Oh most definetly, I am just as conmfortable shooting both and just as accurate. Just on appearance alone was my comment. I guess I like my longbows simple and my recurves with a bit more bling.

That's a lot of shoe-iron!
Remind me to wear gloves when touching y'alls's bows...
