Hello all, hope your having a good day.

Let me start out by saying I shoot a PSE kingfisher recurve right now, and I am looking for a new bow.

I got the recurve when I was 13, and haven't had the chance to shoot it much until the past 4 months.

And after I shot for a while, and did some reading on here, I have come to the conclusion that this bow has some pretty bad finger pinch.

Its incredibly uncomfortable to shoot. I find myself getting frustrated while shooting, which never happened when I was younger.

I think my draw is just too much for this bow.

Anyways, I am looking for a bow that has a nice, smooth draw, with little finger pinch. And stacking is a bit of a problem for me too.

Right now I am drawing 55@31

If anyone can make a suggestion for some bows for me to check out, I would be very appreciative.

I am saving any money I get, and am willing to wait.

I just want to get a NICE bow that is going to be suitable for someone with my draw.

Sasquatch by Bigfoot bows, Eaglewing, Morrison, Whippenstick, Centaur, Pronghorn, Protege, and a whole bunch of others that I am sure you are about to hear about. Best thing is to read the reviews here and if you can actually test some bows or get testimony from people that own them. Each bow has its faithful group of followers that swear by them. Most with good reason.

there too many good bows to mention however a longbow might be your thing call northernmist they all for the most part can handle your needs if you like recurve call black widow what ever you shoot really dose not matter what you need is a bow that fits you .

I've got a friend and his draw is 31 or 32 inches. He shoots a Schafer Silvertip. Like Plumber said, call the bowyer and get a bow that fits you.

I draw 32.5" and shoot a 66" Black Widow PLX, and a 64" PMA II.  Both handle my draw length very well with no stacking.  Look into BW's test drive program and you'll see what I mean.

Quinn Stallions, in 62-62" will be butter smooth, fast and gret shooters. Pm me if I can be of any help. Oh yeah, affordable too!

I've had two Chastain Wapiti takedown bows that were very nice. They are designed to be smooth past 30".

I draw 31.5" and I am shooting a 62" Black Widow PA. No finger pinch and no stacking. Also i have a original Bob Thompson 66" curve that i loved but my limb cracked after about 15yrs of hard shooting. You cant go wrong with either company.

Take a look at Blacktail bows (Blacktailbows.com).  Norm has a chart on the ordering page that shows his 66" recurve is recommended for 28" - 33" draw lengths.  I have a 64" that I draw to 29" and I suspect it would also work out to 31".  Definitely one of the prettiest and best finished bows out there.

Recurve longer than 64 and longbow longer than 68. After shooting short bows you will notice a big difference.

My 66" Black Widow PLX and my 64" Black Widow PMA are both silky smooth out to my 31" draw.  

I recommend that you test drive a Black Widow... they're fantastic bows!

I draw 31.5". I have a Lost Creek and Black Widow PSAX and they both do very well with long draws.

Stewart's Archery.
Leon's bows have the smoothest draw of any I have felt. They are no slouches at sending arrows downrange, either.

Try a 64" Toelke Whip very smooth shooting bow.  I have a 30" draw.
