quote: where is Martville located in relations to Horseheads?
It would be at the far south end of the horse
Tony, you have outdone yourself twice on my behalf, I believe I owe YOU a bottle and another campfire. I am all cheered up now, or maybe just punchdrunk, as I only got two hours of sleep last night. (notice that I posted on that good-guy auction site at 1:30 this morning. Then I read the threads a little to wind down, finally retiring at 2:30.
Nothing cheers me up more than time spent in the woods with good friends and fine weapons, and here they all are, right here on TradGang!
Here are three favorites, all in a bunch.
The Magic Bow, my curly koa bow Ember, and a bow made from the same block of koa for Chris Surtees. Chris allowed me to buy the bow from him in installments, always prodding me to send an address, which I would not do until he got the final payment. The bow brought a lot of money in for the St Jude auction last year, as I expect The Magic Bow will this year.
I currently own two centaurs, and used to own another, all-glass Centaur (#15 on Jim's site). The Magic Bow has a certain something that no other Centaur that I have shot seemed to possess. A quintessence, mercurial and enigmatic infuses the limbs and riser. Uh, that translates to PFM, in engineerspeak.
Did I tell you about the time The Magic bow killed a bear at eighty yards? Out there, past the bucks...

Killdeer
Yup! A mighty big closet! ;P
