DIY Nevada backcountry trad hunt on YouTube

After over a year of waiting, my buddy finally got my footage edited from a hunt I went on a couple of years ago. It needed some narration dubbed in to explain the first stalk, but it didn't happen. It looks like I'm sneaking up on the buck in plain sight, but it is just the camera angle. I'm hidden from the bucks view by the rock pile between us. When I pop up for the shot, I'm 25-28 yards away, though it looks like I'm only about 10. Enjoy the video, it'll get you fired up for hunting season! Check it out on stalkerrecurves.com Click on the little square with the four little arrows pointing into the corners of the square below the screen and it'll pop up full screen.

That was cool South! Really good descriptions and stalks I liked the music too. Beautiful country and some great deer. Your pack was pretty full already, how did you talk your wife into carrying that one out?

SUPER! After Glory Hogs II, hope you include this footage in your next DVD. I'll be first in line. Todd

Good stuff! I thought on that first stalk that when you had to frog-hop off that ledge that would be the end of that stalk. I was surprised that with that bucks right eye facing out toward you that you could get that close. Maybe it was just the camera angle or maybe he was just oblivious to his surroundings at that time. I know when I'm laying out in the sun I can get pretty sleepy! haha Thanks, David

Very cool, nicely done, both the stalk and the video.
