What new bow have you bought this year?

Post a picture of your new bow or new to you bow that you plan on using during hunting season;

I haven't bought one yet but saving all of my nickels and dimes to get one before season but would like to see what you have gotten; thank you.

I picked up a new to me, 60" Chastain Wapiti td recurve about three months ago. 49# @ 28" pretty good shooter. Don't know how to post a pic here, but I will try to figure it out.

I have a Dale Dye on order that should be done this time next year if that counts. I also have the bid on one of the bows on the St Judes auction. There are some great bows on there that going way to cheap.

Norm Johnson called me this past week and I should have my Elite VL with two sets of limbs sometime before the end of June.

Ya know.........I'm pretty good on the "waiting game" up until I know the bow is being put together........then that last little bit of time really kills me.    :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:

New Hill Halfbreed 65@28 and new limbs for my Predator [email protected] looking for a nice Jack Howard Gamemaster Jet 60+ that I can afford or a Wing Thunderbolt the same way.

New to me...Big Jim's Buffalo Bow..64",45#@29"..Bubinga and zebra wood riser,bamboo limb cores w/ Juniper veneers..Very smooth....Mike

Got my new 64" Blacktail Elite VL the first week in May a week before my 60th birthday. Don't have picture capability at this time but it has a dark rosewood riser, footed with bubinga, with stained birdseye maple veneers, pulls 46@30".

Got a new 55@27 62" Mahaska Flatbow last month.  Bocote handle and SouthWest cedar limbs. I absolutely love everything about this bow.

Holm-Made Osprey....62" 52# @ 30 Tamo Ash ,Boo cores, Cocoblo riser with an Osage I beam! Going to go Elk hunting in Colorado this fall and it will be my go to bow. Back up will be a ACS or a Zipper, all about the same poundage.

54" Bow-Bolt takedown carbon foam Shrew Classic Hunter, phenolic riser gray stained curly maple limb veneers and black Gemsbok tips. It shipped out today and should be here next week.

A buddy gave me a new bow.
It is a A&H CX with a carbon riser,62 inches long and 55@28. She shoots very well and I may hunt with it this year.

First I picked up a Great Northern Bushbow 60#@28" w/Diamondback skin.  Been missing the one I sold years ago even though it was too heavy for me.
Next I needed primary and backup takedowns for an upcoming Colorado Elk Trip so it was:
60# Brackenbury(traded custom Damascus plus $)
59# Jeffery at the Baltimore shoot for a steal
and I broke down and bought a Hummingbird Kingfisher with 53# and 58# limbs at the same shoot.
I think I am past done for the year.
