Which do you do?

Hunt from the ground, from a tree, or a blind when whitetail deer hunting?
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

Strictly a ground hunter... anything my size should not be up in a tree... the forest department does not like trees damaged...

The ground, it's easier to take a nap than up in a tree   :D

I hunt from the ground and from a blind..I kinda think of those as one and the same.  better question would have been to ask tree, still hunt, ground blind, or spot and stalk.
Just my two cents.

From a climbing stand or tripod stand...with a RIFLE!  I'm not good enough yet to get 'em with an arrow....

All of them...I build a few ground blinds a year, spot and stalk/still hunt, and hunt from tree stands all year.  I like to mix it up.  It also depends on the weather.

I'm with Ga.boy...best success has been from trees. Best sense of accomplishment...from the ground.

All of the above! I like the ground / still-hunting better, however I seem to shoot more deer when I just park my butt in a tree.
