I was wondering if you could use bear bleeder-blades in a Magnus 4-blade bh? I like the idea that the bleeder-blade would breakoff if you hit something thicker than a rib. Thanks

I have done that, the blade is a little thinner but a drop of superglue in the slot handles that. I also liked the fact it would break off, i believe that is how fred designed them..

When I first started using the big Magnus I the factory bleeder blades just looked too "Choppy". My solution was to use the Bear bleeders and it worked just great.
I got over my fear of the factory bleeders and had a lot of fantastic blood trails with them and no penetration problems.
Lately I've been using the Bear bleeders again... just because I can.
I do like Dave does except I prefer a little fletching cement to hold them.

Thanks for the feedback yall. I really do think the bear bleeders give you the best of both worlds. A 4-blade going in and a 2-blade when things start getting tuff. Once again thanks. Looks like its time to order again!

Charlie & Dave,
Thank you for the tip Gentlemen!!!!!
I have not been using the bleeders in my old green Razorheads because the bleeders pull loose when I remove them from my Selway bow quiver.
Thanks Again!!!!!
