no reason to exclude anyone.  shoot. shoot and post up.  I'll be "on the hunt" a little later.  What do you think the neighbors reaction will be if I don my leafy suit and face paint for the challenge?

Sounds like fun, sorry I missed the last one.  I only had a small saucer paper plate.

I don't normally shoot that close or with that severe of a can't.  I'm very pleased, challenging shot.

looks like 8,8,6,6 for a 28...

I figured a belly-crawl and staying super-low.  I shot from my knees in a low crouch with bow hand about 20" off ground.  After the first 4 (score 16), I experimented and found I needed to aim high and left to hit the mark from that range and position.
Great scenario!  Thanks looper!

As I came in to post these I figured out that I messed up...lol

These were shot from my HH Wseley Soecial 66" 46@28
but they were shot at 12 yards, not 10!

If it's ok, I'd like to have a do over at the proper yardage and I would wait until later in the week to shoot it so it would be cold turkey just like today's.

Let me know.

Thanks!

God bless,Mudd

I have had just the target set-up for a couple of years now on my wonderful neighbors property.
Bedded boar. I had to put him back together and reposition him since their boys have evidently been mess'n with him and he was full of ants! I wanted to position him for a clear broadside shot but there were too many ants so I went for quartering away.

The shot at 10ish yards.

My final score doesn't count since I got a zero on the first four shots! Splitting a sapling in the process.

So I shot again just for giggles and did a little better.

The second and third shots were killing shots but a poor score. Fun though!!!

I added an obstacle to help with the realism.  My view from 10 yds.

And here is the result.

Haven't shot much in the last couple of days and it felt like it.  First shot was my best as it often is.

I'm calling it 2 8s and 2 6s for a 28.  The top shot is centered above the line.

I will be adding these off positions to my practice sessions.  Should make things more interesting and keep it fun.  Good times.

10yds seems easy... But is actually  much harder than it sounds... especially shooting cold... This is a shot I actually practice!

Looks very good from this shot...

Actually it is close but not quite... 28 is as good as it gets for me this week    :D

Here's mine. I like to practice cold shots and shoot with a cant but I hit to the right farther than I expected. I waited the minute between shots and finally got dialed in by the last one.
Looks like another 28 thanks to a line licker 10 and 6.
