Help needed finding boots!
« on: June 05, 2011, 06:57:00 AM »
I had a pair of knee high rubber boots, insulated with about 800 grams of Thinsulate and the main attribute to these boots were that they had a side zipper that made them easy to put on and take off. I think they were Lacrosse. Does anyone know where I can get some like this?

Thanks,
Bona

As soon as I posted this I thought to do a search and I found them! Alphaburly Sport Side Zip, 1200 grams of Thinsulate, $190.00. I found them on lacrossefootwear.com.

They are kinda bulky for long distance hiking but for shorter walks they are great! I struggle with other rubber boots with the tighter ankle fit and the zipper makes all the difference. They are great if you suffer from cold feet also. The price is a show stopper for the moment but I'll have them by fall. I'll bury them in the dirt for a few days prior to deer season.
