Just a little insight into how it all came together at the end.  

Up until tonight I had no idea who, if anyone, might be waiting in the wings.  Although I hoped someone might step forward, I had not contacted anyone or laid any plans.  

As the time was slipping away I had three different phone calls/emails from friends wanting to do more.  I personally had reached my own limit, but the generosity of the others inspired my wife and I to dig a little deeper.

We truly had no master plan to snipe the bid at the end - it simply kind of fell together.  I submitted my bids with a few minutes remaining to give Michael a short window to respond, and fully expected that he would top our efforts.  Not until a few minutes after it was over did I even tally up the MK totals.

Once again, my hat is off to every single participant on the thread, all the way through.

Finally there is one other detail once all this gets sorted out, I need a list of MK,LLC shareholders for Lil D to draw a winner for the Tippit Cake Slicer  :)   I'd like my share to go in the pot with Michael's name on it.
