Whip-What did you go and do,go to the darkside? Those are Vadors stormtroopers not seals. SEALS don't need all those gadgets.
BTW- We Marines eat SEALS for breakfast! But it's for the kids so I'll play nice. Welcome swabbies!

Although,I do like the rifle in the hands of the one on the far right. Sunny-can you say SNIPER!

MK is at $2,125.  Still a ways to go, but like you said this is a marathon.  I think we are actually ahead of the pace from last year but now is the time to turn up the heat.

Thanks Joe.

Come on guys/gals I'm begging here. We(the kids) need you and your donations.

Think about this, you sit down after dinner and your just craving something. Your belly is calling for some poundcake. You then remember, oh I have a slice in the freezer. The slice that I earned during the St. Judes auction. Boy that auction was great! And so is this cake!

See,it's simple. C'mon now lets pick this up and make a charge.

Come on up Gregg.

Or any other bidder who contributes $1,000 to St. Jude in the name of MK, LLC, whether or not we win or lose.  It may not be a trophy area, but we do have a few good ones.  And I can promise a good time no matter what.

I can't think of a better place to eat pound cake!

I'm so stretched right now that if steamboat rides were a quarter all I could do is run up and down the bank hollerin' "ain't that a bargain!"     ;)     I hope someone that is more flush than I am right now takes you up on it.

Whip

I checked with Sophie this morning and asked her to run outside and dig up some of that " SPECIAL " money I gave her to hide.

She was at first reluctant.

Then I explained the whole donation to St Jude's kids thing and her ears perked up a bit.  But I saw she was not yet convinced.

You see I had told her, under no circumstances, to dig up that money until "The Holy Grail" bow came up on the classifieds.  I am sure you can see why I trusted Sophie with hiding this money from me.  She is hard to sway and very obedient.

Finally I mentioned that we could get a slice of Delaney's pound cake.  She grabbed her shades, headed out back, and soon enough coughed up a Franklin.

Whip, Sophie and I are in for a share !!  ( Good Girl )

Glad to have you on board Sophie!
You might have to at least let Brian have a taste of your pound cake.

Gotta love a Chessie!  They can be hardheaded and a bit stubborn, but they CAN be convinced.....with the right persuasion!!!  Looks like you used the "right" persuasion.  If we win, the difficult part with be convincing her to actually "share" the winnings!!!

Love the Chessies.  I sure do miss every one of them that have been part of my life.
