Mail Man came up the Driveway today/ New to me Kwyk Styk
« on: June 08, 2011, 09:49:00 PM »
This arrived in the mail today!! 56"55#@28" Static Tipped Kwyk Styk.. I'm really stoked. This bow shoots so well and groups really nice with several different arrow spines and weights.  I could not find anything that did not shoot well.  However, Carbon Vapors 400's at 29 5/8" with 145 up front seemed to be the most consistant.

What do you think?

It is a beauty! How quiet is it? Does the bowyer have a long waiting list to get a bow? Ken

If you have never shot one of these, you really need to give one a try.

I have had several Black Widows and a Habu with reverse mounted limbs.  I find Jack's Bow's to definately be my preferance.. shorter riser and way less weight to lug around in the woods, great for long draw guys, smooth, quiet, and fast.  Pretty much everything I'm looking for in a bow.   :jumper:

Ok so you are the second owner?  When you decide to get rid of her, call me first.  I have always wanted to try one and this is a good poundage.  Very nice bow!!!!

:bigsmyl:

Glad that one finally made it into your hands Gene!  As you know I've got one that looks almost identical.  Probably my favorite recurve I've ever shot.  I've also got a 58" that is right there with it with the static tips.

I really like the static tips, but the regular recurve limbs definately shoot well too!  If that 60" bow you have would have been a 56" I'd still have it!  But, I know she has been real good to you, and if I were you I'd hang onto it also!  They are going to be really hard to come by, heck they already are.

Congrats again my friend!
