I have an older Bear Kodiak that is 61# @ 28. I am guessing I pull 28-29 and I use a 30 inch arrow. Using a 145 gr Bear Broadhead both the 2216 and 2117 arrows seem to fly real good....Which one should I use.? I can't find my old Arrows by Kelly spine chart. Thanks, Scott

I would go with the 2117,they both have the same GPI of 12.0 except the 2216 has a slightly stiffer spine. You probably shoot a dacron string on it so I would use a 2117,it's plenty of arrow for your bow in my opinion.

Yep, it is an older bow, so no FF string. I was thinking the 2117 might be a little more forgiving if I slip and have a little shorter draw. Thanks...Scott

2117. It has a slightly thicker wall thickness which makes it just a tad more durable. Plus, it's smaller diameter makes it closer to center which may make it a tad easier to tune and it may penetrate a tad better because of the same fact.

The 2117 is a great shaft, was always my favorite when I still shot sixty or so pounds. The 2216 is a good one as well, I just always preferred the 2117.

I was shooting a "70" super kodiak last year and started with 2117's with your set up at 29" and 150 head,28" draw.Went with the 2020's for the small diamiter and 13 gpi.Fly like darts and all most 600 grains. Dan
