Larry has a knife to be proud of, that is for certain! It is a real beauty. Congrats Larry.

Travis,
You bet I'm proud of that knife. Jeff's forging abilities are the best -- he explains everything step-by-step that makes it sound easy until you start swinging the hammer. Without his guidance and patience, I probably would have ended up with a spoon.
The time and energy it takes to forge a piece of steel into a thing of beauty that each one of the Twister Sisters will be is something else.

I'm glad that I was able to get in on this one. You guys are great, it was certainly fun to watch all the bantering going on. Can't wait to see who gets what knives. They all look great. Maybe someday when I grow up I can make knives like these.

It's been a fast week around here trying to catch up after Compton last weekend. But I finally got back in Twister production mode today. Two more ready to go, and another partially completed. I think there are three more on their way here from Tennessee.

Man those things look awesome! Always been kinda partial to a blade on the smaller side. But I'd be honored with any of the twister knives. It will be a very special and meaningful piece of my hunting equipment.

Man those look awesome! I love how the grain shows with how the scales are cut. Very nice!
With all the time I am at home these days holding our newborn I am watching a bunch of tv. I have no doubt that the twister crew making these blades would be a hit reality series!
Serious talent and big hearts involved...

I just happen to see 3 more of them today while visiting with Robtattoo. They are very nice. One felt like an extension of my index finger for sure. Congrats to the winners and builders of the Twisters.

Oh boy Whip. Those handles look fantastic.
I am looking forward to seeing the rest. I hope we can get a photo of all the knifes and then with each owner. Would be good advertisement for next year.

Zbearclaw, did you forget to put your glasses on or were you just talking about the knives?

Wow!! Now that is a sweet looking trio of blades! I would be happy to be in "uniform" for my first pic with a twister...the next pic will be an action pic with mule deer or elk playing a key role.
Thanks for the sneak peek Rob!

Now that I think about it I think they should be traveling uniforms...then none of the twelve would have "hurt feelings" that they weren't able to share in the fun. :p

I have an idea for next year. The Terrific Twister Twelve need to forge up blades for the next group. Kinda like passing the torch to the next generation of Twisters. Heck we could have Twister lessons and maybe I could bring Il Bastardo from Bear Quest with me...of course after the forge cools down

Twelve Twister blades for next year, sounds like a great idea to me Doc. A little sip of the Il Bastardo sounds good too!

I'd have to practice 24/7 until next year to shine the shoes of the twisters let alone make blades that could even walk in the shadow of these...
