Rednecks vs Gators

Four tradgangers headed to Florida wednesday to battle in the swamp with the gators. Stickhead, Langhorn, Jeff Mullis Jr, and me Arrowhead80 are going to stickbow hunt gators and hogs. Hopefully pictures and stories to come and all fingers and toes will still be attached.

Talked to Troy while ago. they are on the way back. I'll just say the rednecks did really good and didn't even get locked up in jail.

Rednecks won by a landslide. We had three trad hunters for gators and one guy had a crossbow and we all tagged out. Troy killed first, then Scott, then Ryan(with crossbow), then me. They all were between six and a half to eight foot. We had a ball the whole time and no animals were safe, on top of gators we managed to kill a gar and bullfrog with trad bows. If you want a rush try shooting a gator at three yards with his mouth wide open in a bad mood. They are tough animals, i shot mine the first time through the neck with a tree shark then tried to follow up with a shot between the eyes and my arrow bounced off and broke with no penetration at all it was like shooting a brick. This is a trip i would take again without question.

Yall need to go with us next year Bill it was fun. We hunted the whole time in shorts and flip flops. I will try to get some pictures up if i can email them to someone that knows how to post on here.

We are getting together this weekend and cooking a bunch of gator meat so i hope it is good. We plan on eating a few pounds of shrimp too just incase.

I think I'm going to have to look into a gator hunt next time my job takes me to Georgia, your trip sounds like a whole bunch of fun.
