Terry I sent you an email.

And I am not in the least bit offended, more so humbled.

Krink....got your email....working on it....

Folks....someone emailed me about 3 days ago...they felt lead to donate a bow to another TradGanger but he wasn't sure how to go about finding the right person and situation to do so.  That is why I made the offer....on behalf of another Trad Ganger.

When he emailed me, I could tell he was very much wanting to pass on the bow and the St Judes Mojo....as he was basking in the St Judes success.

I really didn't have a clue at the moment, but I've learned long ago...sometimes its best not to 'think' about it....and the answer will come walking right into your front door....

There will be more to this thread soon....the bow I mentioned is on a hunt right now.....But I'll be back with a sneak peak....

Also looks possible the bow was stored standing in a corner and the bottom limb took on more of a set and made it more r/d than the top. As Terry and many otherts said sorry but it is defintely out of tiller. Shawn

All,

I recieved an email form Terry today that the bow will be shipped to me shortly.  I want to say I have never met Terry or the gentleman who is donating this bow.  I am unsure if the donator wants to be named or not so I will let him do that on his own if he wishes.

I want to publically say THANK YOU to Terry and the owner of the bow.  If anyone reading this isnt sure of the character or the nature of the people here let this prove it to you.  I do not sponsor, dontate, or give anyfunds to Tradgang (if there is a way I must have gone over that portion.  If there is a way I will be more than happy to).  I am basically a walk in off the street guy and I am being treated like a long lost friend.

I did not include this information to Terry (he may have known due to previous posts though) but I feel like I should let everyone know what kind of home this bow is coming to.  I didnt include this because I did not want my job to be a reason or factor in why I should be on the recieving end of this.

I am a United States Marine.  I am married to one of the best women in the world.  I have 2 amazing children and my oldest who is 5 just got her first bow from cabelas about a month ago.  She loves shooting with her daddy.  Between 2005-2008 I did 4 tours to Iraq.  I am currently teaching at our school house in Arizona.  I LOVE hunting and the outdoors and treat that aspect of my life with the most respect I can think of.

Thank you once again.

Kyle

Kyle.....this is what TradGang is truly about.

I did knot know of anything you posted about the bows new home.....this post was the 1st one I've seen of yours.

Like I said...sometimes the answer walks right through the door.

I'm sure you will love this bow...it is a beaut for sure...and I expect there will be stories to follow.

I haven't opened my email since I emailed you earlier to see your reply with the address...but will forward that address to the shipper of the bow.

Keep us posted on your adventures .....

Way out of tiller. STOP shooting the bow as it could delaminate and likely injure you. Believe me no bow is worth going to the emergency room to get wood and fiberglass pulled from your arm.

Actually I've seen this same thing with folks taking pics with Iphones.  Because of the scan rate the pics come out distorted.  A photographer did the test in Norway with an Iphone and a high speed video.  The Iphone showed the same as the pics shown on this thread and the video camera showed a perfect string travel.

So don't believe everything you see with new technology when it comes to high speed sampling.

Don't have an explaination for the broken strings but the bow does not look out of tiller either static or drawn.
