...is kicking back watching the "Kodiac Country" Fred Bear dvd. Anyone remember watching these productions when they first aired?

Yep I was 10 yrs old and they came on at 7 am sat. mornings. I was right there every sat . with a bowl of CornFlakes.

I saw on some TV program but I can't remember which one. It was in the 1960's I think?

They were on in 1965/66 Its what got me hooked

Mine came from ****, all videos in one collection. I think 3 Rivers or one of the other supply houses has them on sale.
