My boys first harvest ( A Fathers Day Hunt )
« on: June 23, 2011, 01:53:00 PM »
My oldest boy will be 5 this July and has been shooting since he was 2.  This last Sunday we went back to the farm to see my dad and we took the bows along........every since late last summer when my brother and I went down to the pond to shoot some frogs, my boys cant stop talking about shooting some of there own

With my brother behind the camera, my two boys and I in Frog hunting gear, we where set.

Right off the batt we spoted a frog, David took his first shoot and missed BUT his second one made this PAPA proud...........  :goldtooth:

William coming over to see what all the fuss was about.

We got into a couple of others and shots where had by all.......I conected on a nice one and although the boys came close.........I told the boys thats why they call it hunting.

David decided that he needed to call them in  :biglaugh:    With his hand cuped to one side of his mouth he let out a big oll RRRRRRIBIT!!!

My boys are hooked   :archer2:

That is awesome.  Glad to see the passing on of the tradition.  Congrats kid on the frog.  You rock.
