screw in broadhead????
« on: July 01, 2011, 02:46:00 PM »
I am hunting with a PSR this year instead of Longbow and my Woodies don't fly perfect out of it, their for my glue on Broadheads wont work. Has anyone used the adapters to make glue ons screw in? Any suggestions on broadheads I am looking at Wennsel woodsmans but I like 2 blade? Any insight would be appritiated.

Thanks in advance
Ed

adapters work fine for me, the trick is making sure the are straight when you put them on. I twist them when glueing them on just like when putting then on wood and spin test and adjust and stick them on different adapters till they are straight and spinning like a top.

Give a Magnus Stinger a look, they are a great head.

I'll second the screw in Magnus Stingers. It's a very good broadhead. If they don't fly right with your woodies, then your arrow tuning is probably off.

I ALWAYS buy glue on heads and glue in my own inserts. Not only do you get to tune your arrow to the exact front wieght you need, but you have complete control over the glue joint.
