Only one bow here.  Had it since 1993, An Assenheimer recurve 65# @ 28".  I've been considering getting another bow.  I've always wanted a longbow and have been weighing my options.  As someone else stated, it's a good idea to have a backup.  I've been lucky so far I guess.  My other option was to simply buy an extra set of limbs for my Assenheimer but that's not as appealing as a new longbow.   ;)

Nothing wrong with being a one-bow guy until that one bow "gives up the ghost"(as we and they all eventually will) two weeks before the season opener.  Nothing compares to that horror. Now I'm a least a two-bow guy or occasionally a one-bow guy with a set of back-up limbs!

I only shoot one myself, but that's only because I don't own another one. I've got a Sarrel's BobcattII 60" 47lbs @ 28". My next one will be a Sarrel's also, my wife told me I could get the new one! Even then, I'll only shoot one exclusively. I shoot year round with the archery club ( www.archersforchrisparis.com ), and I like the idea of only using one bow and one set of arrows because it really gets you prepared for the hunting season.

One Bow?...Well Kinda...I'm lucky enough to own two 60" Black Widow TFVs...One 48# @ 26" the other 51 @ 26"...Do just about everything with the 51# bow...3D, stump shoot, big game, small game, the works!...Guess you could call the 48# bow my spare...What's cool is they both can shoot the same arrow well!... :) ...

I know there must be lots of guys who own and shoot alot of bows...That's Cool Too...But me?...I'd rather be really good with one bow and own a hundred plus arrows!... ;) ...Don't want to run out of ammo!!!... :jumper: ...

Just one, Silvertip 64"-55@28

I am waiting on this one right now, but it is the same as my other silvertip that I lost. I can't afford too many custom bows.

Later

Only one for me.  It's a BW MAII that was 58# @ 28 when I bought it new in 1990.  In February 2005 the Widow makers shaved off 5# and refinished it.  I love that bow.
