Abe's Cari-Bow Lynx
« on: July 08, 2011, 11:28:00 AM »
Always said I'd never shoot a longbow, too much hand shock, too slow, didn't like the way they looked,  Then I saw one of Abe's Wolvereen's at the PBS banguet last year. Long story short, tried one out and ordered one.  Just got this in, and does it shoot.  This ain't no ordinary long bow, he refers to it as a Hybrid, has alot of reflex in the limbs. I have several very nice, top of the line Recurves, this bow will shoot with the best of them.  It's the Lynx model, 60" 54# at my draw, Black and White Ebony Veneers, Yew core, Macassar Ebony Riser, Buf Horn tips, two piece take down. These are the pics Abe sent before shipping. The way I see it, I'm still not shooting a Longbow, it's a Hybrid.   :goldtooth:  RW.

Congrats!

Have a 49 pound Slynx and love it. Very light in the hand and a joy to shoot.Seems like I shoot mine best with my GN quiver on it.
