Between 7.5" to 8.75" is where you will find the sweet spot.

Right at 8" works best for mine...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Shoot my 58" Kod. Hunter at 8 1/4" and shoots just great.

It is very quiet, here is the secret.  Get yourself a heavy duty bungy cord.  Cut off two 3" sections, split and tie them to your string.  Like cat whiskers just alot heavier.  Once on, pull them apart and they will quiet anything.
Can't cheat the mountain,
Mountain got it.
