Motor City Machetes...Latest edition to fuel my addiction
« on: July 09, 2011, 05:05:00 PM »
Here is my latest off of the assembly line here in the wilds of South East Michigan.  These arrows are truly a thing of beauty.

I think I will take them to our Bow Hunting Club tomorrow and see how well these Douglas Fir shafts slame the 3D's.  Then to the woods this fall to see what I can get to fall prey to them.

The light orange line just below the feathers a couple inches is my brace height (that way I never have to wonder if I have it right, and don't need to carry a bow square with me) and the 3 dots in a triangle formation is my signature.

You can tell they are Doug Fir!  what did you use for the blue section?  Die or stain?

Very nice work!

Very cool! Great idea with the brace height mark. I may have to try that out.

Great looking arrows Mike. Sure would look good with a chipmunk skewered on the end, eh?   :D   That brace mark is a great idea too.

Nice job on them Mike...the signature looks like something akin to marking a golf ball...lol.
