Where to buy 4" low profile Banana feathers
« on: July 14, 2011, 02:07:00 PM »
Is there a source to purchase these feathers, or, do you have to burn your own?

Sorry for the dumb question but can't seem to find them anywhere so I'm guessing you have to burn them.

Appreciate any input you might have.

Thanks,

YB

Get a chopper and modify it to chop 4". Not hard to do.

Appreciate the reply. I gather they're not available for sale anywhere then. Guess I'll look into a chopper.

I remember someone here did a tutorial on how to alter a bananna chopper to make low profile feathers. Just do a search here and it should come up.

Thanks for the info guys. I did some searching as well since my last post and found a couple of places to buy them. I don't have a chopper yet, so was just looking to buy a few to see if I can get my arras to fly with 3 x 4" low profile Nanners. If not I'll try 5" or so.

Guess now would be a good time for me to buy a chopper as well.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks,

YB
